Culturally, this Buddha is prominent in many Asian households because of what he represents. This buddha is meant to attract good fortune in all aspects -- spiritually, emotionally, and physically. 
 
Unlike modern renditions of this buddha, you can see how ornate he is represented traditionally. He is holding prayer beads in his left hand and holding a ruyi scepter in his right hand. People may wonder why he is so large, and simply put, he knows how to have a good time and live life to its fullest.
 
The buddha is sitting atop a giant lotus.
 
You will notice some colored markings on this figurine. Given the age of the metal, this is the natural patina or oxidization of the metals.
 
The piece is otherwise in great condition with no other reportable damage.
