This piece is quite old and the lacquer has chipped a bit along the edges. There are two areas of damage along the edge of the base about 1/3-inch in size. There are visible cracks along the seam lines where the paint has aged. However, the piece is structurally intact and stands without any issue.

This was traditionally used to hold a sake bottle and the rim would hold small cups.

This could also hold a candle up to 1 1/2-inches in diameter.

Dimension: 5 1/2-inches H, 6 1/4-inches W
