Cloisonné is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects. By the 14th century this enamel technique had spread to China, where it was used for larger vessels such as bowls and vases.


The vase features a pink and yellow rose with a deep red (maroon) background. The bottom of the vase is in a beautiful pale blue color. The interior of the vase is covered in gold brass.


There are no cracks in this piece. This piece will be insured when mailed.
