WHAT IS A TERRARIUM?

A terrarium is a miniature world inside a glass vessel. Think of it like a modern-day “ship in a bottle” except with plants!

 

WORKSHOP FEATURES

Our terrarium workshops are unlike any out there. We’ve hosted workshops for couples and large groups. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday or a bridal shower, or if you’re a company looking to reward your staff for their hard work, we’d be happy to work with you.

 

What sets us apart? It's our service and our materials. We are constantly sourcing new supplies and so the available materials are always growing and changing.

 

We’ve designed our workshop experience to allow participants to bond with one another. We also go through various terrarium models to give you some inspiration. Most importantly, our workshops offer one-on-one coaching on your designs.

We can bring our workshop to you! We've setup our workshops at hotels, community recreational centers, client's homes, and of course at corporate headquarters. Whatever the occasion and venue, we will coordinate with you to make the logistics work.

COVID-19 update: We are now offering virtual workshops. We have experience working with corporate teams and can use a company-designated platform or serve as virtual hosts for your group. You also have the option of ordering a select amount of terrarium kits and hosting your own workshop at home. Contact us for more details.

STANDARD AIR PLANT TERRARIUM WORKSHOP - STARTING AT $45 PER PERSON

This workshop is great for beginners who are venturing into terrarium building for the first time. The workshop offers plenty of material options. A minimum of 2 people is required to book a reservation at our shop. We can accommodate up to 12 people in our store. Larger groups have the option of using our outdoor space. Our workshop runs a minimum of 60 minutes.

• 6-inch glass globe

• Decorative pebbles, stones, soil, lava rock, ginger rock, and more

PREMIUM AIR PLANT TERRARIUM WORKSHOP - $75 PER PERSON

Take home two terrariums! Our premium workshop offers a lot more options including different glass vessels. Take home a 6-inch glass globe as well as a 4-inch hanging orb. This is perfect for the person who really wants to become an expert terrarium builder. A minimum of 2 people is required to book a reservation. This workshop runs approximately 75 to 90 minutes.

 

Premium Package:

 

• Two air plants

• An option between several glass bowls (available in our shop only) plus a 4-inch hanging glass ornament

• Decorative pebbles, stones, soil, lava rock, ginger rock, and more

• An assortment of moss in various colors

• A large selection of seashells

• Dried flowers

• Coaching on your design

• Seasonal materials (acorns, drift wood, etc.) based on availability

WHEN DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Book your reservation as early as possible to ensure that our instructors are available.

 

Please note that we reserve the right to substitute our plants, materials, and vessels due to the availability of supplies throughout the year.

 

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your workshop. Balance is due 7-days before the event.
